History	On the air since 1958 as WLIR; was WDRE from November 24, 1987 until July 1, 1996, when it again became modern rock WLIR. In October, 2003, owner Jarad Broadcasting announced that it was selling 92.7 to Univision, and that the WLIR call letters and format would move to a different Jarad station. On Friday, January 9, 2004, the transfer was finalized and WLIR began broadcasting a simulcast of Univision`s WCAA - 105.9 FM. The call letters were changed to WZAA on January 12, 2004. On May 27, 2005, WCAA and WZAA shifted from "Latino Mix" to "La Kalle", featuring reggaetón and Latin hip-hop.
Comments	On January 11, 2007, WZAA discontinued its simulcast of WCAA and adopted a Mexican Regional format. The call letters WQBU were adopted on February 23, 2007.
