| History | The first station to broadcast on this frequency was WGNR in 1950. The station became WNRC in 1953, WWES in 1958, and WVOX in 1959. WVOX was sold to William O`Shaughnessy in 1968, who ran a local news/talk format until his death in 2022. The station was donated to Chang Media Group in 2023.
