| History | Original owner Harry H. Carmen placed WGBB on the air in 1924 and continued to run the station until his death in 1954. The station started playing Top 40 hits during the 1950s, and after numerous ownership changes, WGBB was sold to Multicultural Broadcasting in 1998, when the current format was introduced.
